LIVE-IN CARE

​Unlike visiting care, live-in care is a 24/7 service where the carer lives in your or your loved one’s home and offers round-the-clock support. Live-in care allows those who need additional support on a long-term basis, or temporarily while recuperating after a stay in hospital, to remain in the familiar surroundings of their own home.

Live-in care can be a wonderful alternative to residential care as it avoids the upheaval of moving and enables you to continue with your established routine. It can also be an effective way to care for pets who are not always able to move into a residential setting.

Live-in care usually includes personal care, such as washing, dressing, supporting morning and night-time routines, continence care, supervision of medication, assistance with household chores, cleaning, cooking and of course companionship.

We carefully match your carer with you in terms of personality, interests and likes and dislikes. We want you to develop a personal bond with your live-in carer and we do all we can to ensure you are comfortable with that person, not just on the first day but on an on-going basis.
