Local artist Rachel Rogers delighted residents with a refresh of our remembrance mural. To commemorate the one hundredth anniversary of the end of the First World War and Lincolnshire’s status as an RAF county, residents painted canvases of fighter aircraft through the ages.
Rachel visited the home to add another dimension to the artwork by painting a field of poppies beneath the aircraft. The RAF and the country’s wars are a living memory for many residents and the mural provides a colourful setting in which to reminisce.
